Matthias Claudius Lerch, born 1975, is an associate and member of Pestalozzi's Litigation and Arbitration group in Zurich. His main practice areas are national and international commercial litigation and arbitration as well as insolvency law.
He graduated from the University of Zurich (lic.iur. 2001) and was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2003. In 2006, he graduated from the University of Chicago Law School (LL.M.) and in 2009, he received the diploma "Arbitration Practitioner" (ArbP) from the Swiss Arbitration Academy. From 2001 to 2002, he served as a law clerk for a Lucerne district court and worked as a junior associate for a Lucerne law firm. From 2004 to 2005, Matthias Lerch worked as an associate for a Zurich business law firm (practice group: litigation and arbitration). He joined Pestalozzi in 2006.
