Gianluca Flammia is an associate and a member of Pestalozzi's Financial Services and Corporate / M&A groups in Geneva.
Gianluca Flammia's specific areas of expertise include banking and financial regulations, financial products and transactions as well as capital markets. He also advises on corporate and commercial law, M&A, contracts, real estate and corporate governance.
Gianluca Flammia was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2007. Before joining Pestalozzi in 2012, he was legal counsel during few years with a Swiss bank specialising in the trading of OTC products, in which he was also a member of the compliance committee and the secretary of the board of directors. He practiced two years as a trainee in one of the leading business law firms in Switzerland before being admitted to the Bar.
Gianluca Flammia, born in 1977, obtained a master of law of the University of Geneva specialising in banking and financial services (2004) and has been a collaborator of the Banking and Financial Law Center of the University of Geneva. He is a member of the Geneva Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association, the Geneva Business Law Association and the Geneva Real Estate Chamber. He practises in English, French, Italian and to some extent in German.
