Christophe Pétermann is an associate and member of Pestalozzi's IP & TMT as well as Market Regulation groups in Brussels. His fields of expertise include Swiss and European competition law, as well as Swiss and European market regulation in sectors such as banking and finance, cosmetics or foodstuffs.
Christophe Pétermann graduated from the University of Lausanne (lic.iur. 1994). In 2004, he joined Pestalozzi as a junior associate. He was admitted to the bar in 2006 and to the Brussels bar as a European Community member in 2007. He began his professional career as a law clerk at the Rent Court in Lausanne. Subsequently he specialised in European Community law at the Europa Institut in Saarbrücken, Germany (LL.M.). He was then an assistant at the University of Geneva and spent one year in Brussels at the European Academy of Legal Theory (LL.M.). He practices in French, German and English.
