Beat Schwarz is an associate and a member of Pestalozzi’s Corporate/M&A group. His main practice areas are corporate and commercial law, private and public mergers and acquisitions, contracts as well as competition and insurance law.
Beat Schwarz, born in 1978, is a graduate of the University of St. Gallen (lic. iur. HSG, 2004) and Cornell University School of Law (LL.M., 2008). In 2003 he worked for the Swiss Federal Competition Authorities. Beat Schwarz joined Pestalozzi as a junior associate in 2004 and became an associate after his admission to the Zurich bar in 2006. After graduating from Cornell in May 2008, he practiced for more than a year as a foreign associate with a law firm in New York and rejoined Pestalozzi in October 2009. His professional languages are German, English and French.
