Pestalozzi advises Calik Enerji on a USD 586.25 million financing transaction
Pestalozzi has acted as Swiss legal counsel to Calik Enerji and its Swiss subsidiary Calik Enerji Swiss AG in connection with USD 586.25 million guarantee facility agreements - including a guarantee agreement covered by Swiss Export Risk Insurance (SERV) - between Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Zurich Branch as lender and Calik Enerji Swiss AG as borrower and Calik Enerji San. ve Tic. A.S., as guarantor. These guarantee facility agreements have been entered into in connection with Calik Enerji’s EPC contract in relation to the turnkey construction of the 1574 MW Kiyanly combined cycle power plant project in Turkmenistan.
