Our law firm was founded almost a hundred years ago in 1911 by Dr. J. Henggeler. Under the leadership of Dr. Anton Pestalozzi and Dr. Paul Gmür, our firm grew up and developed into a successful law company working with over forty lawyers and associates in the 1980s. From the beginning, we have been providing legal advice to both international and national clients.
In 1992, Pestalozzi & Gmür merged with the well established Geneva law firm Patry, Junet, Simon & Le Fort (founded in 1979). In 2001, one of the oldest law firms in Geneva Lachenal, Brechbuhl, Cottier and Roguet (founded 1882) joined, and we became Pestalozzi Lachenal Patry, one of the leading law firms in Switzerland with highly renowned and internationally recognized experts in Swiss law. A Pestalozzi branch was subsequently opened in Brussels.
In 2008, the Pestalozzi Zurich office was incorporated and now operates under the name Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law Ltd.
